The True Meaning of Lord or Kurios

The word "KURIOS" was and still is being improperly translated as the
ambiguous term "Lord."

Lord (ancient) A husband, the head or master of a household, a man of renowned power, a man who has mastery in some field or activity.

When looking at translations, one must look at ALL of the possible meanings in order to derive the true meaning. Simply selecting your favorite word from a list is a grave error. According to Strong's Concordance, Kurios (#2962) literally means "Supreme in authority," "A Controller," "A Title" such as Mister, "Sir," "Master," "Lord" or "God." Obviously, the true meaning for KURIOS is a respectful title for anyone who has the Highest Position and Highest Authority, but only within the bounds or area of their authority. YHVH has ALL Authority over ALL, but Messiah Y'Shua's authority is over the Coming Kingdom of YHVH on Earth. The Kurios (#2962) is a title that carries with it the concept of the "Chain of Command." For the guy at the bottom of the "Chain of Command," everyone above him is his Kurios; with each succeeding Kurios having his own realm and bounds of authority, and each Kurios being supreme within his own realm. Spiritually speaking this is always true, as all of YHVH's "Chosen Few" (Elect) will be a Kurios with supreme authority without any other Kurios overruling him. Why? Because they are ALL of ONE MIND, ONE SPIRIT, ONE ACCORD and ALL do only the "WILL of YHVH." Therefore, all the KURIOS speak for YHVH, and without conflict. In other words, all Kurios beneath YHVH (the absolute supreme Kurios) will act on behalf of YHVH as YHVH's proxy.

John 17:9-12, 16-18, 20-23 ("As One" explained)

9 I pray for them
(Chosen Few): I pray not for the world, but for them (Chosen Few) which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these
(Chosen Few) are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be (as) one , as we are (A Spiritual marriage meaning "Like Minded").
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them
(Chosen Few) in thy name: those (Chosen Few) that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but (except for) the son of perdition (Judas); that the scripture might be fulfilled.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world
(because we are not worldly in Spirit).
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world
(meaning we were born in this world, but none of us including Messiah, came from the third heaven).

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them
(The Chosen Few yet to be born) also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one
(Spiritually Married or Like Minded); as thou, Father, art in me (Holy Righteous Character), and I in thee, that they also may be one in us (Are we God? No! And neither was Messiah, but we all have YHVH's Righteous Character, and as such we are all "As One"): that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be
(as) one, even as we are (as) one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made
(in time) perfect in one (mind or Spirit); and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
